RURAL TV is the world’s rural channel. Found on Sky channel 279 and Freesat 403, the channel launched globally in March of 2009 from it's headquarters in London. Currently, RURAL TV is enjoyed by well over 10-million viewing homes across the UK, Ireland and Europe. RURAL TV is the world’s first 24-hour international multi-media channel dedicated to serving the needs, and interests, of country people, and those with country in their hearts. RURAL TV fills the void for this large, and previously underserved audience, with a wide range of original programmes targeting enthusiasts for equestrian, rural lifestyle, and farming, along with traditional music and entertainment within each broadcast day.

RURAL TV programme segments have been created to organize shows by interest, mixing proven international favourites with a strong local presence. Beginning at noon each weekday, six new hours of programmes premier, which are then repeated in prime-time, overnight, and the next morning to provide convenient viewing times for even the most demanding consumer schedule. The weekend offers one more opportunity to catch one’s favourite show as the entire 30-hour programme lineup airs back-to-back one final time before new episodes begin the weekly cycle again on Monday.

Managed by a team of experienced, broadcast television professionals with an unmatched 8-year track record of successfully launching and operating rural media companies, RURAL TV takes the viewer down each and every country road, delivering programmes of superior quality, bringing together, for the first time, this large, previously hard-to-reach audience with advertisers who have been seeking a more efficient means to communicate their message, showcase their products, promote their services, and harness the power of video to these targeted consumers.

RURAL TV The Magazine is being developed for an Autumn/2009 release with the first publication to provide hard copy support and promotion for the channel. And there you have it …RURAL TV has the programmes, the people, the experience, and the distribution which is revolutionizing communication to and from the rural world. People that are stewards the land. Farmers that want to raise better animals and grow superior crops. The love of horses. The joy of collecting and restoring classic tractors. The respect for family and tradition. The excitement of competition. All are international bonds. RURAL TV gets it, and is here to stay as the link to leading the way as we become one global rural village.
