RURAL TV is “The World’s Rural Channel.” Now found on Sky channel 280 (Horse & Country TV), the channel launched globally in March of 2009 from the United Kingdom. Currently, RURAL TV is enjoyed by well over 10-million viewing homes across the UK and Ireland. RURAL TV serves the needs, and interests, of country people, and those with country in their hearts.

RURAL TV teamed up with Horse & Country TV (H&C TV) on Sky Channel 280 in May 2010. RURAL TV now offers a unique six-hour block of programming from 11 am to 5 pm from Tuesday to Sunday, and from 6 pm to midnight on Mondays.

RURAL TV’s 6-hour programme segments on Horse & Country TV (SKY 280) have been created to organize shows by interest, mixing proven international favourites with a strong local presence. RURAL TV fills the void for this large, and previously underserved audience and helps to bridge the rural to urban divide with a wide range of original programmes targeting enthusiasts for equestrian, rural lifestyle, and farming, along with traditional music and entertainment within each programming block.
